Erebor...the
Lonely Mountain...the last of the great Dwarf kingdoms of Middle-earth.
The first they heard was a noise like a hurricane coming down from the
North. Smaug had come. Such wanton death was dealt that day. Smaug had
his eye was set on the vast horde of gold within the mountain. Gandalf
arrives in the Shire and convinces Bilbo to join a group of dwarves on
a quest to reclaim the kingdom of Erebor.
