REMEMBER
THE FALLEN
Let us remember the fallen
May the youth heed the
advice,
We must remember the
fallen
And their great sacrifice.
May we hold our freedom
dear,
May we never forget
The brave souls, the
fallen,
To whom we owe a great
debt.

REMEMBER THE SACRIFICE
They fought, they fell,
they died for us,
They paid the ultimate
price,
Now it’s our duty to
honour them,
Remember the sacrifice.
We will carry the torch
and never forget,
Nothing less will suffice,
On November 11th we will
commemorate them,
Remember the sacrifice.
Waves
roll in the sea, the Maple Leaf blows in the wind, planes fly in the
sky, and poppies bounce around. Matching

SAY A PRAYER ON
REMEMBRANCE DAY
Silent now the soldiers
sleep, their tales long laid to rest.
I knew them not yet still
I weep and place a poppy o'er my breast.
Courageously they stood
their ground but freedom carries a cost.
Thousands of men were
wounded and countless lives were lost.
So in gratitude of
silence and all those who have served,
Sleep now, you have
earned it, your peace is well deserved.
The
soldier salutes, poppies blow in the breeze and bounce around the
screen, and poppies bloom and fade on crosses. Matching desktop theme,

TEARS OF REMEMBRANCE
Young men made the
sacrifice,
They fought for freedom
and made a stance,
We must never forget such
bravery,
As we shed tears of
remembrance.
Some lived, some fell on
the battlefield,
As they were ordered to
advance,
Each November 11, lest we
forget,
As we shed tears of
remembrance.
Tears
drip, flags blow in the wind, and poppies bounce around. Matching

THEY FELL WITH THEIR FACES TO THE FOE
They went to battle, so young and brave,
Little did they know,
That some would never go home again,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
Now the old veterans remember the days
Of great sorrow and woe,
Of ultimate sacrifice we must never forget,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
The
flag blows in the wind, airplanes fly across the sky, and poppies
bounce around. Matching desktop theme, wallpaper, and Winamp skin

THEY FOUGHT AND FELL
Remember, remember
Those who fought and fell
so we could be free
The sacrifice they made
So brave, with valour
their lives they gave.
Gone but they live on in
memory
So bow your head now,
Standing still in silence
we will all pray,
To learn and live in
peace and justice on Remembrance Day.

poppies blow in the breeze and a gentle rain falls. Matching desktop

THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD
They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the
sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
As the stars that shall
be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon
the heavenly plain,
As the stars that are
starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end,
they remain.
The
poppies and tree blow in the wind, the sun shines in the background,
and poppies bounce around. Matching

TRUE PATRIOT LOVE

O Canada, our home and
native land,
True patriot love in all thy sons command,
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The true North strong and free,
From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep
our land glorious and free,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER
We
cannot know him. And no honour we do him can give him the future that
was destroyed when he was killed. Whatever life he could have led,
whatever choices he could have made are all shuttered. They are over.
We are honouring that unacceptable thing – a life stopped by doing
one's duty. The end of a future, the death of dreams. Yet we give
thanks for those who were willing to sacrifice themselves and who gave
their youth and their future so that we could live in peace. With their
lives they ransomed our future.

WE ARE THE DEAD
We are the Dead. Short
days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw
sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and
now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with
the foe:
To you from failing hands
we throw
The torch; be yours to
hold it high.
If ye break faith with us
who die
We shall not sleep,
though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

WE SHALL KEEP THE FAITH
FREE SCREENSAVER
Oh
you who sleep in Flanders Fields,
Sleep sweet to rise anew,
We caught
the torch you threw,
And holding high, we keep the faith with all who
died.
And now the
torch and poppy red
We wear in honour of
our dead,
Fear not that ye have died for naught,
We'll teach the lesson
that ye wrought
In Flanders Fields.

WEAR A
POPPY
FREE SCREENSAVER
We
need to remember all those who are gone, lest we forget what they
sacrificed in the end. Remember the scarlet flower, the little red
poppy that never died on the battlefields. Like the memories of all the
fallen we wear them close to our hearts, so please wear a poppy.
Poppies
bounce around the screen accompanied by In Flanders Fields music.

WE WILL REMEMBER
The call to arms rang
through the land,
Our young men answered
the call.
They gave their lives and
sacrificed,
We will remember them all.
And so it is with bowed
heads
Each and every November,
We acknowledge all of our
Fallen,
Yes, we will remember.

YES WE REMEMBER
The
bugler sounds The Last Post, the Maple Leaf blows in the breeze,
Yes we
remember,
Bowed heads listen to the immortal words of John McCrae,
Yes
we remember.
Vimy Ridge,
Dieppe, Juno Beach, battles of
long ago,
Yes we remember,
On each chilly November 11 morn on the 11th
hour,
Yes we remember.
Soldiers salute, waves roll on
the beach, and the flag
blows in the breeze. Matching desktop theme,
